$40 Beach Front Bungalow...

Found an amazing Ocean Front bungalow in Mu Nei, steps from the beach on the Gulf of Tonken. Kitesurfing capital of SE Asia. Grand total per night- $40.

But the best part is the owners have two Bulldogs who love the beach!

Dinner.

I'm not sure what it was....other than it is some sort of fish that swam in the China Sea. But it was good. Sort of.

Tuesday.

Being able to travel....one of the greatest gifts one can bestow upon themselves. Standing on foreign soil, straining to hear a sliver of English while searching the horizon for familiar letters. The amazing feeling of being so far from home, yet being at home with your fellow planetary inhabitants.

Saigon.... a true wired city

Dog Days...

95 degree days. 78% Humidity. Truly a dog day afternoon. But hey....it's going to cool down to 72 tonight! :)

7825 miles and 29 hours later....

Taipei. And Lost...

A familiar site this groggy morning in the Taipei International airport as I stumble around at 5:30am local time looking for something in English.   Damn, this airport is big.  So many bright neon lit Duty Free shops - make you wonder if the airport was built for the duty free shops, or the other way around.   A Starbucks...The girls at the counter giggle as they keep saying Americano, Americano in response to me asking for an Iced Coffee.   Oh well, guess it's an Americano this morning.

Just checked the weather for my arrival into Saigon later this morning.   You have to love any city where the high all week is going to be in the upper 90's with the night low's being in the mid-70's.
